Interstitial: The Malignant Horny Chaos Expansion

Do you wish there was just a little more room for complete bundles of chaos in the Interstitial system? Sure, we all do! Here, I humbly present three new playbooks for the public's choosing, each with its own little twist on established formulas—and remember, if the formatting is kinda fucked-up, it's not because I'm bad at graphic design. It's just part of the charm!

The Fake:

It just got out of hand. Maybe it started simple, or maybe you came in with fireworks going off and a chorus singing your praises, but one way or another, you’ve gotten yourself in deep. People think you’re something you’re not, and there’s only one thing to do: keep lying your ass off. After all, you can’t fess up now… can you?

The Fake is the playbook for characters who claim to be something they’re not. The moves here are about scraping by in this lie, either by taking advantage of the resources at hand, making things up as you go along, or simply relying on the benevolent hand of fate. Play too fast and loose, however, and people may discover your secret—and there’s no telling how they’ll react. 

The Lovers:

Love is not an easy thing: all too often, lines are crossed, hearts are broken, and soulmates become strangers. For the Lovers, however, the lows are well worth the highs, and they’ll stop at nothing to keep one another safe.

If a loving relationship is intrinsic to your being, this playbook is for you. The moves in this book filter almost exclusively through your Partner, and the both of you will benefit from careful coordination. Fail to consider your Partner’s feelings before making a decision, however, and they’re the one who will end up paying the price.

The Chef:

As many stars there are in the sky, there are ways to become a chef. Some spend years in the crucibles of gay Paris, some learn from decades in their family’s home kitchen, and some just don’t have anything better to do in the evening. Whatever the background, however, the code of the chef remains the same: be bold, take risks, try new things, and, above all else, make sure your friends leave the table content.

The Chef should be self-explanatory.
